The cost to enroll in graduate study at UMass Boston varies by the residency status of enrolling students. Costs are lower for Massachusetts residents. Please carefully check the regulations to determine your residency status.

*Medical insurance is ONLY billed to students taking 7 or more credits. This fee may be waived if student can show evidence of other medical insurance coverage. $1425 is the 2008-09 rate. Generally increase is $100 per year.
**Through the New England Regional Student Program, residents of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont pay a significantly reduced tuition along with the normal out-of state fees. Click here to find out more.
