Affiliate Practitioners - General Services
The Massachusetts Office of Dispute Resolution & Public Collaboration (MODR) is a free-standing, statutory state institute of the University of Massachusetts Boston created to provide more effective forums for conflict resolution, improve public decision-making processes, enhance community involvement on contentious public issues and build capacity within public agencies. For over 20 years, MODR has served as a neutral forum and state-level resource for dispute resolution and collaborative governance. The office provides skilled assessment, systems design, process management and access to qualified mediators and collaborative practitioners for service on public contracts.
MODR has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Affiliate Practitioner General Services. The RFQ seeks to qualify senior level dispute resolution and collaborative practitioners with multi-disciplinary expertise, demonstrated skills and proven public sector process experience to serve as mediators, facilitators, trainers and systems designers on public contracts through MODR. The deadline for responses is January 15, 2010.
The full text of the RFQ, including Frequently Asked Questions can be found under Contract Number CB10-MK-0007 at http://www.umb.edu/administration_finance/procurement/openingbids.html.
Current MODR Affiliate Practitioners must respond in order to continue to be eligible to provide services through MODR, with the exception of Community Mediation Centers providing mediation services for the MAG/R Program.
